NAPLAN - National Assessment Program in Literacy and Numeracy
Cet examen national australien évalue les compétences en anglais et en mathématiques dans toutes les écoles locales. Les élèves passent ce test en CE2, CM2, 5e et 3.

AEFE - Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger.
The Agency for French Education Abroad. A government agency under the administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France that provides accreditation for the French national curriculum outside of France.

AS - Associations Sportives
After school sport programs. These include Badminton, step fitness, handball, swimming, surfing, tennis. Enrolment is via Eduka at the start of each year or each term.

BFI - Baccalauréat Français Internationale Y11 (1e) & Y12 (Tle).
The FBac International programme. Students in this programme take additional classes on top of the FBac courses. These classes are taught in English at LCS. The Britannique program offered at LCS is accredited by Cambridge in association with the French education department.
Cahier de Correspondance
The school booklet of rules and regulations, which parents and students are required to review and sign. Middle school students are required to always carry this booklet. If misplaced students must immediately notify the Vie Scolaire.
CAPN - Championnat Asie- Pacifique de natation
A swimming championship between participating French AEFE schools in the Asia Pacific region : Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh city, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, and Sydney.
CdC - Conseil de classes
The class council is a meeting held three (3) times a year and is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the student's achievements. It also answers pedagogical questions concerning the life of the class. The class council is composed of members of the school staff, student representatives and parents.
CDI - Centre de Documentation et d’information
High School Library and Document Centre Students may access during the morning recess and break Up to 15 students may be accepted when the CDI not occupied by a class. Priority is given to students who need to work on computers.

A Helping Hand An after-school support program for GS and Y1 students whose mother tongue is not French in developing their French language skills.

CPGE - Les Classes Prépas aux Grandes Écoles
Is a French post-secondary education system. They are preparatory classes for top Business and Engineering schools in France. A two-year intensive study programme aimed to facilitate enrolment for undergraduate students into the “Grande Ecoles”. The students from CPGE are required to take national competitive exams. These preparatory classes are officially not authorized to deliver any degrees. CPGE system is only in France, Morocco and Tunisia.

DELF is a French foreign language diploma issued by the French Ministry of Education. They validate French language learning. Delf certifications: for English-speaking students who are new to LCS.
