The FBac International programme. Students in this programme take addition classes on top of the FBac courses. These classes are taught in English at LCS. The Britannique program offered at LCS is accredited by Cambridge in association with the French education department.

Cahier de Correspondance

The school booklet of rules and regulations, which parents and students are required to review and sign. Middle school students are required to always carry this booklet. If misplaced students must immediately notify Vie Scolaire.

CdC Conseil de classes

The class council is a meeting held three (3) times a year and is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the student's achievements. It also answers pedagogical questions concerning the life of the class. The class council is composed of members of the school staff, student representatives and parents.

CPGE Les Classes Prépas aux Grandes Écoles

Is a French post-secondary education system. They are preparatory classes for top Business and Engineering schools in France. A two-year intensive study programme aimed to facilitate enrolment for undergraduate students into the “Grande Ecoles”. The students from CPGE are required to take national competitive exams. These preparatory classes are officially not authorized to deliver any degrees. CPGE system is only in France, Morocco and Tunisia.

Class life = class discussion. The class meets with the Home room teacher to discuss current issues related to the pedagogic program, class dynamics and other issues. Student representatives will present the issues discussed at class council each term.

Vie scolaire

School Life = The student welfare department. The Vie Scolaire team is made up of our Senior Education Advisor (CPE) and 12 Education Assistants (AED). The AED supervise the students while ensuring their safety, especially outside of class (recess, lunch break, homework help, etc.). The Vie Scolaire team also supports the CESC (Health Education and Citizenship Committee) by planning, in collaboration with the LCS community.
